Things I Heart

Every Thursday and Friday I look forward to reading galadarling.com on my daily blog list because she posts her Things I Love Thursday and Carousel Friday. It really brightens my morning so I decided to do a little Things I Love post of my own...

- hiding out at my family's beach house in Newport. It's just far enough to feel like your getting away.

- my birthday is a week away! AND I'm having a fiesta!

- getting decorations for my party. I love Party City.

- Pirate Radio. Didn't really know what to expect but such a great movie with great music

- STILL looking for a location for our wedding but I think I know where I want it. It is so much fun and so exciting...I can't wait to really get the plans rolling along.

- playing 18 tly (to look younger). especially since my birthday is coming up.

- ordering new cute workout clothes. and exercise in general...running along the beach, working out in 5 star hotel gyms and basketball. It definitely helps me feel balanced.

- camping out in the living room watching movies with the fireplace on and eating vegan nachos.

- Real Live Raw on Franklin. The Super Shot is amazing! Everything I've had so far is good but the shot makes you feel high, in an amazing way.

- Getting our film back from our Vegas trip. and there's still more that needs to be developed.

- And finally I love the Wildfox videos (and their clothes). The new witchy one came out and I love being witchy.

That's the way a cowboy rocks and rolls

I have a secret...I love country. It may have something to do with where I grew up. There were cowboys in high school and, yes, it was Southern California. I know it can be irritating, but I really love the idea of country whether it be songs about summertime and your redneck riviera or about your wife leaving you to drink your problems away on a barstool. Come on, it's America. I would not mind being Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood. Or Faith Hill for that matter (...Tim McGraw). Anyways, outlaw country is pretty much amazing. They are the rock and rollers of country. Long hair, whiskey and a devil may care attitude. Makes me wanna throw on some leather and lace and head on down to the bar to drink some beer and Jim Beam. But in Texas, because that pretty much happens on a regular basis. Yeeahh...Ladies Love Outlaws.

And while we are on the subject...this is one of my favorite eds from a year or so ago. Amazing styling Kate Lanphear. AND aptly named "Outlaw Country"

fade away, radiate

So I've always liked Blondie, but it wasn't until recently that I really started appreciating how cute she is. Maybe it was the Coney Island photo, that place always gets me. That, and maybe because we're both bleached blondes.

"Dreaming" is my favorite song from them. Every time I hear it it makes me feel like I wanna cry, which usually isn't a good thing but with this it is. Ugh...all attributing to a weird night in San Dimas.
