The wedding countdown has officially begun. A week and a half!! And two weeks from today we will be in Aruba hopefully soaking up the sun and drinking some sort of tropical alcoholic drink. It all feels a bit surreal. Jason and I have been engaged since February 2010 and it just seemed like the wedding was always so far away. Its crazy that its now so soon. I'm really excited for the big day, but I feel like I should feel more like a bride. I just feel like myself, its really hard to explain. But I've never done this before so I'm not sure how I should feel. I can't wait til next Thursday when we check into our hotel and have the rehearsal dinner. All our friends and family are staying at the hotel, a couple weeks ago there was 25 rooms reserved. Its gonna be a giant Sirney/Parry family/friend reunion. And that makes me really happy. Here's to more surreal events!

my backyard bridal shower

My bridal shower was last week at my aunt's beautiful ranch house in Claremont. I've always loves how every room in the house is a different color and the backyard was perfect for this celebration. It was definitely hot but it was a blast. one game we played was where there were three teams would had to create a wedding dress out of toilet paper. I got to judge and it was great seeing how creative everyone could get. Coco created a toilet paper/daisy head wrap. It was amazing. I received many gorgeous gifts and it was fun having a mix of my family, friends and my mom's friends all there and mingling. My maid of honor Laila did such an incredible job. Oh, and I wore a Stone Cold Fox dress that I thought was perfect for this event, all lacey and sweet.
So excited for this weekend in Palm Springs...all I wanna do is work on my tan, dance and get crazy.

fireworks and freedom fries

I'm back! The countdown to the wedding has begun. Last weekend was my bridal shower and this coming weekend is my bachelorette party. It's all happening!
Here's an overdose of 4th of July pics. We headed down to Newport Beach on the 3rd and things got wild. How else are you to celebrate America? We jumped around from the party next door to our house, danced to hip hop, walked the crazy streets of Newport, played a game of King's Cup with a ton of people and watched fireworks from the beach. Leon wore a lei since he's that kind of party dog. Oh and shotgunned Budweisers. It WAS the 4th of July after all.
